Joe White and missing cake
Have a listen to the brilliant Joe. He's been working on a solo set and it's sounding rather good. He'll be playing at 10 Gales on the 9th of Febuary, it's going to be great!
And, if you want a bit more aggression with your Saturday morning coffee, check out Cherry But No Cake. Their brilliant new album (which I've been told is on transparent green with red specks vinyl, ooooh, lovely) will be launch tonight at Rooz Studios (near Old Street). It's free entry, beers are just £2 and you can pick up a copy of the new album.

Laura Moody and Columbus Giant
Videos from the last Hooting and Howling gig....
Thanks to Laura Moody and Columbus Giant for two great sets. Everyone agreed Laura was possible the best thing we'd seen live. Ever! You can find out about future events and her soon to be released album at http://www.lauramoodymusic.com/
And, if one evening of popfolk wasn't enough for you, you can catch Columbus Giant at the National Theatre on the 26 January at 5.45pm. It's a free gig, and at just the right time for a midweek-after-work pint! Have a look at http://www.columbusgiant.co.uk/ for more info.

Joe White
Singer/drummer/looper extraordinaire Joe blew everyone away as the lead singer in The Marionettes last year. He’s been working on his solo stuff using voice, percussion and loops. This’ll be one of a few chances to hear him solo – don’t miss it, his voice really will amaze you!

The Little Unsaid
With influences ranging from Jeff Buckley to Radiohead, Tom Waits to Nick Drake, and anything else spilling over with soul, The Little Unsaid's music goes well with red wine and dark archways. Currently working with a full band, this is a rare chance to catch John performing a stripped down set.
